Hey there, I’m Mirjana
The person behind the Miracle Photo Studio. As someone who admires the diversity of the world, fascinated by the colors and shapes that the Universe uses in its creations, I am trying to preserve the beauty that I see with my camera.
From a very young age, I was amazed by nature. I was in love with everything I saw- leaves, flowers, rocks, shells, rain, snowflakes, skies, clouds, etc. I believe in what Yann Arthus Bertrand used to say –
“The earth is art, the photographer is only a witness”,
But I also think that being able to appreciate the art – is what makes you an artist as well. And being part of nature-which is a form of art- we are also natural artists. Creating art is not much different from flowers blooming, birds singing, butterflies’ wings, etc.
Besides recording moments like some kind of herbarium, I also felt there was another way to use the camera- to express my feelings and to create something that did not exist.
To describe the world that I see, but also to try to materialize the things I do not see. For me what I do not see is much more important. My other tool for that was language. I wanted to photograph with words and write with photographs.
My love for art took me to study Philosophy of Art at the University of Belgrade, where I graduated with a Master of Arts degree. After that, I took some courses in photography, studied on my own a lot, practiced different styles, and finally opened my own photography business in South Florida.
I shoot mostly in Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach, but I don’t mind travelling to Miami, Hollywood, West Palm Beach, Naples and Boca Raton.
Occasionally I would host a special photoshoot in some other town. Follow my website for those events.
I am very versatile and I do not believe in specializing when it comes to art- I think you can only stay inspired if you experiment, mix and match, and use different forms of creativity. The most talented artists in history- Michelangelo, Leonardo, Rafael, and many others were painters, sculptors, architects, and scientists at the same time. They never specialized. Of course, times have changed, but some things are timeless.
Likewise, I do not tend to think that equipment matters much, as long as you have creativity and will. Nobody asked Leonardo da Vinci what brush he was using. But if you ask, it’s Nikon D850. When we speak about the lens, I use several Nikkor and Sigma lenses, that go from 28 mm up to 300 mm. My studio is equipped with a professional light setup, but I prefer natural lighting. When it comes to editing, I do not like fake photoshop manipulations, I edit my pictures very lightly, because I go for natural look.

Great experience! Mira has been very professional and communicative. She is great to work with. She even did more then she had too.
